October already

I can’t believe it’s October already.  It’s been an uneventful and hot summer and fall.  Is this good or bad, I don’t know, I’m always complaining.  Last year I was just getting ready for my adventure in Tucson with Sarah. What a wonderful time, I was so lucky to spend this time with her. When I wasn’t babysitting I hiked a little around the condo where I stayed. The sky and the scenery were gorgeous. And it must have been butterfly season (after the monsoons) because I almost swallowed a few as I was huffed up the hills. They were everywhere! One thing that was hard to get used to and it was a little eerie was how dark Tucson gets. With the sun setting earlier each day and no street lights allowed, except at major intersections, it was dark-dark.  This picture is from my last hike when I turned around and saw how quickly it was getting dark. I took it just before I heard a noise in the bushes. I was hoping to see a javalina while I was there but not this way. I ran home so I never found out what it was. Beautiful and spooky Tucson 🙂WP_20141105_17_02_12_Pro
